Glyphs are additional abilities that players can purchase and upgrade over the course of each match. They are purchased using a unique resource called "Glyph Points," which are awarded to players every other level, up to a total of six points. Glyphs do not use mana or other form of ability resource. They tend to have extremely long cooldowns, comparable to and even greater than most of the game's ultimates. They provide players with many new options for offense, defense, crowd control, and traversal; as a result they can often be seen earning kills, aiding epic escapes, and generally turning the tide of battle.
